Gigology

Places we've gigged, how it went, general gig info!

Weavers Arms: We've gigged here twice. It's pretty small and dismal; not really a gigging venue. A bit grim. This was back in the day when we had Amy C on guitar. Overall played pretty well it was just, y'know, dingy......

Moses Gate Hotel: Awesome gig place and good atmosphere pretty large with a stage. We played awesome here. Some guy even bought Dee's sticks off him 'cause he liked us so much. Played pretty awesome and it went down really well. Played with Memory of the Dead (R.I.P.) Only issue was wires everywhere and I kept blocking out Incs pedal. I also offended some fat guy......

Farmers Arms: I recomend not gigging here. Its tiny. When we played we were pretty good, pulling off a good cover of Rage against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" but its far from ideal.

Bolton Rugby Club: Dixons party bash! This place was way cool. We sold our souls during this gig by playing tracks from such awful bands as The Darkness and Finch. It's amazing how many bad covers we dredged out. But we played our own tracks awesome. Theres nothing more beutiful than everyone in a room singin' your lyrics. All together now "im in a cage........."

Victory Reform Pub: This place was also way coooooool. We played pretty awful! The whole thing was in honour of Flanges sweet 16th. Awesome start with Dee walking on by himself starting with the opening tom beat to "Blue Funk". Then I joined him adding some bottom end. Finally Laura came on and we blazed in to song. Alas.......

Laura was how do you say....pissed; I forgot lyrics and orders all over the place, but we put on a good show. Thankfully everyone was drunk by the time we played sooo they all thought we kicked ass! "Aberration loves you!"

Grange Hotel: My Uncles preeeeeety posh hotel. This place is well too bling for us! We played for, like, half and hour then drank (free!) beer for 11 hours..... all gravy. Played really well. Guest Adam Sinfield joined us on guitars.

Smithills School Hall: This was awsome! We had a smoke machine.........the retarded thing kept going off every 5 seconds which ment the band couldn't see much....or the audience. Despite  slight technical hitches at the begging we rocked seriously hard bringing home all our classics! Disco ball blazed out and we got a nice turn out. This was a truley awsome gig...hopefully another will be coming your way soon!

Bolton Rugby Club: We returned to the rugby club again almost a year from the first time ready to bring the place to its knees once again. For some reason the place looked alot smaller than we remembered it. The crowd were abit glum and nobody felt like dancing to anything. We still played to a high standard even though my voice went towards the end. Very kick ass!

Bolton North Sixth Form College: This is the college in which Sidge and Incubabe currently reside.  We entered this talent show so we could show off infront of alot of people that didn't really want to watch us. It was pretty grooooovey and we played quite top. This would be a pretty good place to gig if we could get round to it. We didn't win mind. We lost out to fucking all that Jazz. What the fuck. Lollzerz.

School Rock Night II: Sonnys first ever outing for Aberration on guitar. This gig was majorly jinxed being Friday the 13th. All the old supstitions were true. Speakers stopped working. Some retard fell into Sonnys nose and broke it. And his string broke on stage. Even with all this we still managed to pull off one of Aberrations most frantic and energetic performances yet.

Fusion Gig at the Phoenix: This was Keses first gig. Was abit of a nervy event plus we got our setlist cut short which pissed us the fuck off. When they say half an hour you figure they mean half an hour not 21 minutes.....

Hark the Towler in Tottington: This was with Fire Light. A better gig than Fusion but its miles away from anywhere so not many people could come down. We rocked our socks but Sidges bass bus in beaten into silence (thankfully last song) so he just sung and then did the bass solo on keyboard and Kes dueted with him. That was an intense save and was ace. We dreamed of a gig without fuckups!

Zombie Fest Farnworth Snooker Club: This was extreme! People covered in blood everywhere and some frantic moshing. We masked up for this and did some kick ass playing. Absoloutly nothing fucked up at all! It was such a buzz and we really got some energy going!

Metal Mayhem in Farnworth: Now this gig should of been intense. The crowd was quite meagre. The sound was terrible the worst i've experienced. We played intense but had to sound check for 45 minutes and they still didn't get the fucking sound right. Should of been better but it wasn't our fault!
