Dee's Page
This is my page, far superior to the other pages on this site. You want a thrill, hang out here, it's a 24 hour mental party animal. Pretty impressive for a web page.

About Dee:
Who me?
ok. I like things that make thoughts multiply into a roaring but balanced notion. I like to convey this in music.
Kit: Yamaha Stage Custom Standard
Cranberry Red, Mahogany/Birch shells, YESS tom mounts.
Toms: 10", 12", 14" suspended floor tom. Heads on these are: 10" and 12" pin stripes, and a 14" Power Stroke 3 on the floor tom which gives it a really awesome thud.
Snare: That'll be the Yamaha steel. Pssssssh.
Bass Drum: Awesome, got an aquarian.
Pedal: Premier Double Pedal. Double Chain drive, Pearl P-100 Beaters (lightest in the land). This pedal is Kick ass- Cheap second hand. I changed the heavy beaters that came with it for a pair of P-100's because they are much lighter which makes for faster pedalling.
Sticks: Promark 5A or Vic Firth 7A Wooden Tip. Wooden make my ride sound so much sweeter.
Cymbals: My favourite bit of my kit!!
Hihats: K-custom mastersounds
Crash No.1: K-custom 15" fast-crash
Crash No.2: Paiste 2002 16" Medium crash
Crash 3: K custom 16" dark crash:
Ride: K custom medium ride 20" brilliant finish.
"I'm in love with my car" as Roger Tailor sang. Well i don't own a car, but if i did, and it was as good as this cymbal, but in car form, then it'd be a..........good car. Balls, I like this cymbal, it makes me wet.
Splash: Sabian HHX 10" Nice!
China: Sabian HHX 18"
Drum Mics: Superlux- DRK-B5C2 set. And if you're truly interested in the frequency responces, sensitivities and impedance ratings you can look it up yourself!
Artistic Influences
A few drummers from bands, such as; Dave Silveria, who shows what can be done with a Hi-hat and a bass drum; Roger Taylor, who made me take up drums; Joey Jordinson, who inspired me about all things fast; Mike Portnoy, who is just soo good he makes me sick and then want to give up drums all together (and thats just the size of his................kit); Every drummer I've seen on a tutorial video at the 'Drum Centre' 'coz they make me cry also. Like wail. Like, my daddy can't take me there anymore.
And drummers that i know; Gary Watton, teacher for many years; Mark Lamden, teacher for few years; Richard ???; teacher for occasional hour and suggests I 'camp it up'.....I'll try.

How's that?
